The Central Securities Clearing System (CSCS) Plc holds its 2016 Economic Outlook tomorrow at Four Point by Sheraton, Lagos with the theme Growth Opportunities in Challenging Times: Creating Competition for Oil
This is the second edition of the Economic Outlook in fulfilment of the promise made during the programme last year by the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, CSCS Plc, Mr. Kyari Bukar to make it an annual event. He had told participants during his closing remark at the event last year that the Economic Outlook has come to stay
As Nigeria is presently experiencing challenges from the adverse effects of the dwindling revenue from crude oil and gas sector which today accounts for about 75 percent foreign earnings and 14 percent of Gross Domestic Products (GDP), CSCS Management has put together notable speakers and panelists to proffer some alternatives to create competition for oil in diversifying the earnings capacity of the economy
Among the notable speakers and panelists expected at the event are renowned economists and accomplished professionals among whom are Dr.Abiodun Adedipe (Chief Consultant, B. Adedipe Associates Ltd), Dr. Temitope Oshikoya (Chief Executive Officer, NEXTNOMICS), Dr. Henrietta Onwuegbuzie (Academic Director, Lagos Business School), Mr. Nnamdi Okonkwo (Managing Director, Fidelity Bank Plc) while Mrs. Oluwatoyin Sanni (Group Managing Director, UBA Capital Plc) will moderate at the event.
